From: Dave Taylor To: Message-ID: Mime-version: 1.0 Organization: Intuitive Systems - www.intuitive.com Content-type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII" Content-transfer-encoding: 7bit Sender: owner-freebsd-jobs@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.org I'm configuring three boxes that are getting FreeBSD installed on them, and while I'm a reasonably knowledgeable Unix person, I need a consultant who really knows FreeBSD configuration inside and out. What I seek is someone who can tighten down the proverbial hatches on the systems to maximize security, close up all the unneeded ports, etc. Two of the systems will only be running sendmail (one outbound only, one inbound only) and SSH, and the third only Apache and SSH. There's the possibility of some sendmail configuration too, if you're an expert in that. The job should take between 2 hours and a half-day, on-site in San Mateo, CA (close to Oracle, actually). Interested? Please contact me via email with your background and relevant FreeBSD security/configuration experience.
