Since these machines will run in a kind of cluster configuriatin (hosting a couple of jails each, with regular backup to the other machine, to take over the other's jails if one fails), I was hoping to use if_fwe as a private link between the two. I took a 6p-to6p cable and connected the two of them; the cable and the Firewire port are working, as I was able to verify by hooking up a disk. However, no packets are going through, and as far as I can tell, the two machines have no knowledge of each other. Any suggestions? I couldn't really find anything in the archives or GNATS...
