I just look the CVS repository of the device driver, and found the chipset information is registered. In my early experience, the chipset is pre-OHCI series, probably derived from Apple PELE chipset. Anyway, my question is the machine having the this chipset works fine with the latest FreeBSD ? I'm not sure it really works. Here is the log from Dragonfly CVS repository(firewire_pci.c). ----------------------------------------------------------------- revision 1.14 date: 2004-07-18 12:29:19 +0000; author: asmodai; state: Exp; lines: +4 -0 Add the Sony CXD1947, which seems to be used in some Sony Vaios. -------------------------------------------------------------- /\ Hidetoshi Shimokawa \/ simokawa@FreeBSD.org At Tue, 8 Mar 2005 13:18:11 -0600, Katsushi Kobayashi wrote: > > Hello, > > I am asked the latest firewire device driver supports Sony CXD 1947 > chipset.
