Possible failure mode: the old (RELENG_6-built) jdk16 was on the system (I was doing a portupgrade) and that seemed to be selected by the build process instead of the (working, I think) jdk15. After blowing away the old jdk16 the re-build proceeded cleanly, and the new version seems to work nicely. -- Andrew From owner-freebsd-java@FreeBSD.ORG Tue Dec 11 03:06:16 2007 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-java@hub.freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::34]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id D447E16A417; Tue, 11 Dec 2007 03:06:16 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from linimon@FreeBSD.org) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (freefall.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::28]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id A679F13C448; Tue, 11 Dec 2007 03:06:16 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from linimon@FreeBSD.org) Received: from freefall.freebsd.org (linimon@localhost [127.0.0.1]) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.14.2/8.14.2) with ESMTP id lBB36GmC014120; Tue, 11 Dec 2007 03:06:16 GMT (envelope-from linimon@freefall.freebsd.org) Received: (from linimon@localhost) by freefall.freebsd.org (8.14.2/8.14.1/Submit) id lBB36GG2014116; Tue, 11 Dec 2007 03:06:16 GMT (envelope-from linimon) Date: Tue, 11 Dec 2007 03:06:16 GMT Message-Id: <200712110306.lBB36GG2014116@freefall.freebsd.org> To: areilly@bigpond.net.au, linimon@FreeBSD.org, freebsd-java@FreeBSD.org From: linimon@FreeBSD.org Cc: Subject: Re: ports/118143: jdk16 build faild on RELENG_7 X-BeenThere: freebsd-java@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.5 Precedence: list List-Id: Porting Java to FreeBSD List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Tue, 11 Dec 2007 03:06:16 -0000 Synopsis: jdk16 build faild on RELENG_7 State-Changed-From-To: open->closed State-Changed-By: linimon State-Changed-When: Tue Dec 11 03:06:04 UTC 2007 State-Changed-Why: Closed at submitter's request. http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=118143 From owner-freebsd-java@FreeBSD.ORG Thu Dec 13 11:37:58 2007 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-java@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::34]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 2C38316A419 for ; Thu, 13 Dec 2007 11:37:58 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from ally.kev@xtra.co.nz) Received: from mta01.xtra.co.nz (mta01.xtra.co.nz [210.54.141.254]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id B761D13C478 for ; Thu, 13 Dec 2007 11:37:57 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from ally.kev@xtra.co.nz) Received: from mta04.xtra.co.nz ([172.23.11.41]) by fep01.xtra.co.nz with ESMTP id <20071213101518.QAQX29570.fep01.xtra.co.nz@mta04.xtra.co.nz> for ; Thu, 13 Dec 2007 23:15:18 +1300 Received: from fep04.xtra.co.nz ([172.23.12.41]) by mta04.xtra.co.nz with ESMTP id <20071213101518.URIM28381.mta04.xtra.co.nz@fep04.xtra.co.nz> for ; Thu, 13 Dec 2007 23:15:18 +1300 Received: from Palmers ([219.89.181.115]) by fep04.xtra.co.nz with ESMTP id <20071213101517.DESE17371.fep04.xtra.co.nz@Palmers> for ; Thu, 13 Dec 2007 23:15:17 +1300 From: "Alison & Keven Palmer" To: Date: Thu, 13 Dec 2007 23:15:17 +1300 MIME-Version: 1.0 X-Mailer: Microsoft Office Outlook, Build 11.0.5510 Thread-Index: Acg9cQ8mq9kdXrSmRcu8VIGvN6THRA== X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V6.00.2900.3198 Message-Id: <20071213101517.DESE17371.fep04.xtra.co.nz@Palmers> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="windows-1250" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Content-Filtered-By: Mailman/MimeDel 2.1.5 Subject: Redistribution of Official FreeBSD JRE X-BeenThere: freebsd-java@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.5 Precedence: list List-Id: Porting Java to FreeBSD List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Thu, 13 Dec 2007 11:37:58 -0000 Kind Regards Keven Palmer **************************************************************************** *********** Statement of confidentiality: This e-mail message and any accompanying attachments may contain information that is C0NFIDENTIAL and subject to legal privilege.
