In addition, I would like to point you to another presentation about the mirror framework.=20 http://www.poeml.de/~poeml/talks/apachecon08-mirrors.pdf It is slightly newer than the other presentation, and puts the implementation into a broader perspective. Let me know if you have questions, or features that you'd need, or other kind of feedback. Thanks, Peter --=20 When in danger, or in doubt, run in circles, scream and shout. -- Robert A. Of course, I can do that, but I am worried it will create unnecessary load. Unfortunately erwin, who made the change for i386 and amd64, is traveling, so I can't ask him what he did. Can someone tell me what the correct sequence is? Do the mirrors automagically pick up the results of mv commands, so no files have to be re-transferred? mcl From owner-freebsd-hubs@FreeBSD.ORG Sat Apr 19 05:58:11 2008 Return-Path: Delivered-To: hubs@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::34]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 2DD431065673 for ; Sat, 19 Apr 2008 05:58:11 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from kristin@65.106.102.100.ptr.us.xo.net) Received: from 65.106.102.100.ptr.us.xo.net (65.106.102.120.ptr.us.xo.net [65.106.102.120]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 1BC8F8FC1C for ; Sat, 19 Apr 2008 05:58:11 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from kristin@65.106.102.100.ptr.us.xo.net) Received: by 65.106.102.100.ptr.us.xo.net (Postfix, from userid 1025) id 69880A2A31; Fri, 18 Apr 2008 19:55:02 -0700 (PDT) To: hubs@freebsd.org From: received@postcard.org Message-Id: <20080419025502.69880A2A31@65.106.102.100.ptr.us.xo.net> Date: Fri, 18 Apr 2008 19:55:02 -0700 (PDT) MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain X-Content-Filtered-By: Mailman/MimeDel 2.1.5 Cc: Subject: You have just received a virtual postcard from a friend !
