We are using system boost for amd64 due to Issue 58343. http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=58343 as it is closed in 2008/10/12 (!) Do you think we can also use stock boost instead of using one from ports for amd64? As I see http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=58343, it has been fixed since 2007/6. So I can safely remove port's boost dependency for all OOo ports and issue we should address is just merely a build problem. I have built it into a package and will happily send it to you if you are interested. I contacted the group at good-day.net and they suggested I offer it to you. In particular this build, when installed, supports the addition of a dictionary, which otherwise returns a "bad transfer url" error if one attempts to add a dictionary to 3.0.0 on i386 from packages. thank you Lee S Parsons From owner-freebsd-openoffice@FreeBSD.ORG Thu Aug 6 23:05:04 2009 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-openoffice@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [IPv6:2001:4f8:fff6::34]) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 40FB6106564A for ; Thu, 6 Aug 2009 23:05:04 +0000 (UTC) (envelope-from bounces@nabble.com) Received: from kuber.nabble.com (kuber.nabble.com [216.139.236.158]) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTP id 1CBAD8FC15 for ; Thu, 6 Aug 2009 23:05:03 +0000 (UTC) Received: from isper.nabble.com ([192.168.236.156]) by kuber.nabble.com with esmtp (Exim 4.63) (envelope-from ) id 1MZC18-00007n-QC for freebsd-openoffice@freebsd.org; Thu, 06 Aug 2009 16:05:02 -0700 Message-ID: <24856161.post@talk.nabble.com> Date: Thu, 6 Aug 2009 16:05:02 -0700 (PDT) From: Jakub Lach To: freebsd-openoffice@freebsd.org In-Reply-To: <4A106D5F.9070408@janh.de> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit X-Nabble-From: jakub_lach@mailplus.pl References: <4A0EC3DE.6070103@gmail.com> <4A106D5F.9070408@janh.de> Subject: Re: Updated port: maho 2009-05-16 09:55:21 UTC X-BeenThere: freebsd-openoffice@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.5 Precedence: list List-Id: Porting OpenOffice to FreeBSD List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Thu, 06 Aug 2009 23:05:04 -0000 Jan Henrik Sylvester wrote: > > Unfortunately, openoffice.org-3.1.0 core dumps upon exit from the second > startup on (after clearing ~/.openoffice.org/) > > Cheers, > Jan Henrik > Same problem here, FreeBSD 8.0-BETA2 #0 r196050 amd64, OOo 3.1.0_2.
