It's presumably also not about Opera not being mentioned as a browser enough, as the only page I'm aware of (http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en/books/handbook/desktop-browsers.html) that mentions browser choices, lists Opera as a good choice. Date: Fri, 08 Jan 2010 08:22:32 +0900 I think it a problem, as originator says. I cannot confirm easily whether the recent changes in -current or -stable are incorporated to the -stable or more older -stable such as 6.x. viewvc interface can show all, but it is not convenient for the purpose mentioned above. I want it to be fixed. If you send in a working patch, I promise to do whatever it takes to get it properly reviewed and committed, and it will be fixed, as you seem to demand. If not; well then we have this tiny little problem. The CVSweb version is being used for a long time already, and ehm, this is the first bug report, and two people telling that "it's a problem". For all accesses to the page, I would assume that many more people would have complained if this was something that gets in the way. Sadly, either everyone remains silent, or it's just not that much of a problem. I understand that this might not be the response that you are waiting for, though I hope you understand the status-quo; either someone delivers a patch which resolves this problem, or we wait till the previous statement is true. I have no idea and no patch. I think some changes are not shown even if I change the branch to show at the bottom of the webpage. For example, I want to check the recent change in src/etc/rc.d/named, which can be seen via http://svn.freebsd.org/viewvc/base/stable/7/etc/rc.d/named?view=log No changes are shown via http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/src/etc/rc.d/named?f=u&only_with_tag=&logsort=date nor http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/src/etc/rc.d/named?f=u&only_with_tag=RELENG_7&logsort=date However, non-listed revisions really exists, via http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/src/etc/rc.d/named.diff?r1=text&tr1=1.26.2.4&r2=text&tr2=1.26.2.3 On the other hand, some files are shown. For example, src/sys/i386/conf/GENERIC. Are there any possibility that some trouble happen between SVN and CVS ?
