Well, you won't solve the issue, the next would be the examples to complain. And afterwards, if psycopg2 installs any binaries/scripts or something similar, it still will complain. You can try the following workaround (untested): 1) Add PYTHON_CONCURRENT_INSTALL=yes after the PYDISTUTILS_AUTOPLIST=yes line. 2) Remove the DOCSDIR= ... and EXAMPLESDIR= ... lines. 3) Deinstall py34-psycopg2-2.5.3. 4) Try to install psycopg2 for both python 3.4 and python 2.7 Cheers Marcus From owner-freebsd-python@FreeBSD.ORG Tue Oct 7 14:43:58 2014 Return-Path: Delivered-To: freebsd-python@freebsd.org Received: from mx1.freebsd.org (mx1.freebsd.org [8.8.178.115]) (using TLSv1.2 with cipher AECDH-AES256-SHA (256/256 bits)) (No client certificate requested) by hub.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id B3A8695B; Tue, 7 Oct 2014 14:43:58 +0000 (UTC) Received: from local.wintek.com (local.wintek.com [72.12.201.234]) (using TLSv1 with cipher AES128-SHA (128/128 bits)) (Client CN "exchange.wintek.local", Issuer "WINTEKCA" (not verified)) by mx1.freebsd.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id 838C1AD8; Tue, 7 Oct 2014 14:43:58 +0000 (UTC) Received: from rjk.wintek.local (172.28.1.248) by local.wintek.com (172.28.1.234) with Microsoft SMTP Server id 8.3.342.0; Tue, 7 Oct 2014 10:43:57 -0400 Message-ID: <5433FC2D.3070609@wintek.com> Date: Tue, 7 Oct 2014 10:43:57 -0400 From: Richard Kuhns User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; FreeBSD amd64; rv:32.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/32.0 SeaMonkey/2.29.1 MIME-Version: 1.0 To: William Grzybowski Subject: Re: Trying to install psycopg2 for 2.7 & 3.4 References: <5433F667.4090109@wintek.com> In-Reply-To: Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Cc: "freebsd-python@freebsd.org" X-BeenThere: freebsd-python@freebsd.org X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.18-1 Precedence: list List-Id: FreeBSD-specific Python issues List-Unsubscribe: , List-Archive: List-Post: List-Help: List-Subscribe: , X-List-Received-Date: Tue, 07 Oct 2014 14:43:58 -0000 On 10/07/14 10:35, William Grzybowski wrote: > Can you try the following patch? > http://sprunge.us/HMJb Now that's what I call service!
