I admit I'm not subscribed to this particular list either, only dri-devel@ and mesa-dev@ so far. I quickly went through the comments and I generally agree. I would love to see those patches fixed and committed upstream. However, I have free time issues and would prefer to dedicate it to i915 & the Linux KPI shim.= Niclas, Koop, Avengence, anyone, do you have some time to prepare the patches for upstream? We have some Mesa patches too which we should send upstream. I am of course not buying it, but am curious why that bit of software apparently hasn't been upgraded in a while (long enough for it or something else to whine about it). It is version 5.29 of xscreensaver, says it is dated Jun 2014, which I don't consider to be terribly old, but apparently newer is available. *Not* a big issue, but curious, any input from wiser heads ? TIA & have a good one. -- William A.
