I added pccard_enable="YES" to rc.conf and i added an entry for the card in /etc/defaults/pccard.conf. the card is giving me a little problem i can't seem to access the laptop from other local machines. i don't have a firewall on the network and i know it is configured correctly because i can access those same machines from the laptop. i was wondering if there was a patch for 4.7 or 4.8 that i could apply that could make the kernel recognize the card on boot. One more note is that when i was using 5.0 the card was recognized by the kernel so i didn't have to make any changes to rc.conf or /etc/defaults/pccard.conf. Can someone explain to me why that is the case? Thanks, Brian To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-mobile" in the body of the message
