However, even though it has a scsi cdrom, I ended up installing via FTP. The system would lock up right after "Waiting 15 seconds for SCSI devices to settle"... Also, I wanted to install 5.0 and I could not go beyond starting shell on vt0 and the system woudl lock up. You do have to set the primary OS as Unixware7.1 to be able to install 4.x Good Luck! I want to install 4.7 on it, but I keep getting "Unexpected EOF" errors if I try to boot the kern.flp disk and I can't seem to figure out how to get it to boot from the CD-ROM. It can apparently be done, as Compaq recommends such a procedure in some of their FAQ's for other features. What am I missing? Is there something else I need to track down? > _______________________________________________ > freebsd-hardware@freebsd.org mailing list > http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-hardware > To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-hardware-unsubscribe@freebsd.org" > Mohsin AbdulRahman MTech@BuffNET.Net
