I've attached the kernel config, dmesg and gdb stack trace. Booting with a GENERIC kernel built from the same sources works just fine, so I'll hazard a guess that this is somehow connected with module loading, especially since the crash happens in a kldload syscall. Note that adw0 is probed once during the intial boot, then pops up again right before the crash, after the system has gone multiuser. The IWill card doesn't quite work on FreeBSD -- I'd actually plugged it in so I could start doing something about that. It's probed as an Advansys 3550 by Win2K and works fine on that OS, dual-booted on the same hardware. The only thing attached to it is a Yamaha CDRW drive. Any thoughts? I appreciate that people will be busy with getting 4.5 out the door; I'll hang onto the crash dump and see if I can figure out anything myself in the meantime.
