Take a look please, it was after 4a.m. when I committed. It avoids the dependency issue, but I don't like it very much, because it simply ignore what's stored in php.conf and force "pcre spl". I'm not sure which would be the best solution, if adding (instead of overriding) "pcre spl" to PHP_EXT_INC, or giving en error because you are trying to install a port depending on PHP, but you have an out-of-date PHP installation. -- Alex Dupre
