I'll try to provide the detailed output asap. But i'm not even able to install (bring up the install CD). I tried with 6.1 and that CD is able to boot up properly. It is likely that there might be some BIOS option that I need to set but I'm not aware of it. As mentioned earlier, I've seen the problem with 6.3 and 7.0 install CDs. One tedious workaround for me would be to install 6.1 and then upgrade to 7.0 (I'm planning to use the steps give in http://www.freebsd-daemon.net/?p=8) ------=_Part_8500_25517294.1210340690768 Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline It was the install CD that was failing to boot up.
