I've set up the bahamut ircd on fbsd and it runs fine right out of the can. Only problem you have is you may have to update your mp/gmp library on some fbsd releases. You can get bahamut (the Dalnet ircd) at www.bahamut.net A 'bot' is a robot IRC user, with Eggdrop being one version of this.
