From: Will Andrews To: Roland Jesse Cc: FreeBSD GNATS DB Subject: Re: ports/24736: New port: SGI's open inventor (graphics/inventor) Date: Sat, 3 Feb 2001 17:02:53 -0500 Ugh. This port is nasty - all the patches make me sick. Please do me a favor and just send the patches straight to SGI; I'd rather see them integrated in the vendor's tree before bothering with a port. Plus, the libFL distfile checksum changed, and this is probably why the patch doesn't seem to apply anymore. Oh yes, and the ugly /bin/sed -> /usr/bin/sed patches can be replaced with a simple perl/sed RE. :-( So, please: send all your patches to SGI and make them integrate them; and fix the libFL distfile checksum. *sigh*: ===> inventor-2.1.5 depends on shared library: X11.6 - found (cd /usr/home/will/ports/graphics/inventor/work/inventor/libFL && /usr/bin/gzip -nf -9 -dc /usr/ports/distfiles//libFL-src2.tgz | /usr/bin/tar -xf -) ===> Patching for inventor-2.1.5 ===> Applying FreeBSD patches for inventor-2.1.5 File to patch: -- wca To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
