During bootup sequences...The error shows up righ after the system tries to add route default. The error is: clntcp_create() RPC portmap failure.. No receive. Then everything goes up as usual... when I use "telnet" from another system to telnet to the BSD system, I got error displayed on my telnet window "clntcp_create() RPC program is not registered....". But it does let me to connect as normal. The problem appeared right after I setup YP/NIS. I disable YP/NIS, and other... But the problem is still existed. Further looking into "/etc/rpc", but nothing can help me... Thank you very much for your help!
