Since my experience with ISDN is smaller than epsilon I am a little confused about the following observations: The ppp connection seems very unstable in the sense that the outgoing calls are disconnected and after some seconds dialling out is again performed. There is no connection which is stable for more than few seconds (I had a connecton for nearly two minutes once, but the transferrate was comparable to the rate obtained by a simple modem connection!). There are tons of messages of the following type in /var/log/messages which do not say much to me. I would be glad if somebody could give me some idea of what could be wrong with my setup. Thanks in advance and best regards, Carlo ********************************** from /var/log/messages ************************************************* ......................... ........................
