I am not quite sure I have a handle on how to do it. I do know it confuses the hell out of me when I cd to one directory then when i go up a directory I am not even were I thought I was. I want to d/l the ports collection. That goes to /usr/ports. That drive is 4 gigs. So I want to put in on the 12gigger with the /home slice. do I do a ln -s /usr/ports /home/ports ? then when I cd to /usr/ports I really go to /home/ports ?? I'm so confusssseeeeedddddddd. Okay getting a gripe. thanks MD To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
