A suggestion/experiment: do a linux-qt port (based upon FC3 RPM's, have
a look at the linux-gtk2 port for a HOWTO) and use the dynamic instead
of the static version. It may or may not help. I've read in the skype
forum that the dynamic version works better than the static version on
some linux systems.
