I re-installed the OS on a new drive with a 200906 snapshot, and can now boot with AHCI enabled in the BIOS. The original image was a RELENG_7 box that I upgraded to HEAD some time ago. Is there something that needs to be manually updated that would not have been done as part of the normal buildworld/buildkernel ?
