At random points during the install (before the main menu, while extracting distributions, etc), Sysinstall segfaults/signal 11's, or panics and reboots. It seems definitely like a hardware problem with such awkward behavior, but what exactly it is, I don't know. He's tried two different CDROM drives. Any of you experienced any similar problems with this particular motherboard/configuration?
