The problem seems to be an interaction between gtkhtml and the Mozilla Gecko widget. If you copy something from Galeon's location field, it will paste into Evo. The problem is not limited to Galeon, either. Mozilla itself has the same issue (which supports my Gecko theory). I haven't tried Mozilla 1.2 to see if that improves things, but it would be easy enough to test.
