When installing a port, there are times when I would like to have the port install with configuration options other than the defaults. So far I have not been able to figure out the process for this and have resorted to installing via the tarball a couple of times. I would much prefer to install via the ports for various reasons and would appreciate any help. I hope it is not something as simple as running ./configure from w/in the work directory of the port. Making modifications to the Makefile did not seem to work. Thanks geo To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
