Hi, this is my first post to the list.
I am having trouble with my Xircom pccard on a Dell Inspiron 7500 using
FreeBSD 4.6.2. The problem is that it is not activated until late in the
boot secuence so for instance nfs mounts at boot time fails.

There seems to be a problem with using irq 11, but I can't change it by
setting the pccardd_flags or editing pccard.conf. I guess it is because
it is hard routed ? I have tried using hw.pcic.intr_path=1,
hw.pcic.irq=0 (poll mode) then I can set the card to use irq 10. But the
same problem remains.
Also I have compiled xe into the kernel. But it still tries to load the
module?
