I have a FreeBSD 5.3 system with cups setup. When I try and send to the device , cups claimed it printed out fine, but nothing ever actually comes out. It works fine from a Linux box where I copied down the drivers from Brother's web site. But, I'd like to get access from my FreeBSD machines, got more of those. Apparently Brother doesn't support FreeBSD. So, there are no FreeBSD specific drivers. I only found executable Linux RPM's on their site. If I can use those executables that'd be great, but I am not sure where the files would be put to recognize them and such. Any pointers on how to access the Brother MFC-3820CN network printing facility from a FreeBSD 5.3 machine would be helpful. Thanks Chris Kottaridis (chriskot@quietwind.net)
