The modem does work. This only happens (sometimes) after suspending > the system. Apparently some state changes. Do you get the 'Card disabled, slot 1', and then 'Card inserted, slot 1' when this happens? If not, then there *is* a known bug that I have yet to fix w/regards to 'losing' insertion messages, or it's possible your PCIC controller might need to be reset. Can you try enabling machdep:pccard.pcic_resume_reset to 1 and see if that makes any difference. Nate
