I want to put version 9 on but that is another issue to deal with once I get this working. This system is a salve for my domains. If I lookup any local domains everything is fine. Now if I lookup a remote host it fails. For example: ns2# nslookup Default Server: ns.mydomain.com Address: 10.1.1.4 > server ns2.mydomain.com Default Server: ns2.mydomain.com Address: 10.1.1.7 > www.yahoo.com Server: ns2.mydomain.com Address: 10.1.1.7 *** ns2.mydomain.com can't find www.yahoo.com: Non-existent host/domain Here is the debug output that I find interesting: > www.yahoo.com Server: ns2.mydomain.com Address: 10.1.1.7 ------------ ;; res_nmkquery(QUERY, www.yahoo.com.mydomain.com, IN, A) ------------ It is looking up www.yahoo.com.mydomain.com. Can anyone tell me why?? Thank you, Mike Tindall mike@netwzrd.net To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
