I'm using FreeBSD 3.1 stable and get an external modem on COM1, since my NIC uses the same irq4 as COM2, so I disable the COM2 on board. I know I have to set up something before it works, but just cannot find a clue after reading the hadnbook. Would somebody kindly tell me the procedure to set up and tune a modem? Or the way to find out the solutions. Liu Yan To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-hardware" in the body of the message
