My sound card is an ESS Solo-1 (integrated in the motherboard). I load the modules sound.ko and snd_solo.ko. When using realplayer or mplayer, sound is very much distorted; also, the console gets an endless stream of these kind of messages: DMA count reg bogus: 4ff4 & 4ff4 Any idea what this means and what I can do about this to solve the distortion of the sound? The dmesg output of the PC is here: http://surfion.snu.ac.kr/~lahaye/dmesg.boot Thanks, Rob. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
