I use smbclient in conjunction with tar /usr/local/bin/smbclient -d0 //$winpc/$share \ $password -Tc $backupdir/$backupfile $windir && to back up work from my Windows PC. I noticed that tar skipped files. If anyone used it, how reliable is it? Also if there are any suggestions to backup stuff from Windows to FreeBSD, they are welcome. Thanks in advance Michael
