As root, type linux on your command prompt. This will load the linux module. you can check this by typing kldstat. Now try running netscape6...it should work. -Burhan Ian Barnes wrote: > Delivered-To: freebsd-questions@freebsd.org > From: Ian Barnes > To: questions@freebsd.org > Subject: Netscape 6 > Date: Fri, 8 Mar 2002 17:22:50 +0200 > X-Mailer: KMail [version 1.2] > List-ID: > List-Archive: (Web Archive) > List-Help: (List Instructions) > List-Subscribe: > List-Unsubscribe: > X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG > Precedence: bulk > > Hi, > > I installed linux-netscape6, it downloaded a whole lot of rpm's and now when > i try and run netscape i get this error ... > > [creati0n@nicki] ~ # netscape6 > ./run-mozilla.sh ./mozilla-bin > MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME=. > LD_LIBRARY_PATH=./Cool:.:/usr/local/lib > LIBPATH=.:./Cool > SHLIB_PATH=.:./Cool > XPCS_HOME=./Cool > MOZ_PROGRAM=./mozilla-bin > MOZ_TOOLKIT= > moz_debug=0 > moz_debugger= > ELF binary type "0" not known. > Abort trap > > > Must i add anything to my kernel or what ? > > Ian > > To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org > with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
