I read in the hardware compatibility list that the Arnet Smartport 8 port card is supported, but how do you install it, where are the drivers? The only drivers available are for sco unix and svr4 unix (digi intl's ftpsite). Also, it has become obvious that I am going to have to recompile the kernel, but since this is my first experience with freebsd I am not sure if the current kernel settings are reflected in the /usr/src/sys/i386/conf/GENERIC file, because I just happened to browse the file and noticed the network interface card information did not match my current configuration parameters.
