When I setup my samba up as the primary domain controller, it would not allow any of my 95 machines to log onto the network. It would tell me that access to that resource was denied. The strange thing is that there is one 98 machine on the network and that logged in just fine?? Any other time it accepts my password and works fine and I've set the plain text password in the registry on all the machines. Any ideas (other than installing 98, yuk)?? > -----Original Message----- > From: Doug White [SMTP:dwhite@resnet.uoregon.edu] > Sent: Thursday, November 12, 1998 7:17 PM > To: Alex Knowles > Cc: Questions (E-mail) > Subject: Re: primary domain controller > > On Wed, 11 Nov 1998, Alex Knowles wrote: > > > how reliable is samba running as primary domain controller in an nt > network? > > Domain controller support in SAMBA is fairly beta, but is working, > apparently.
