I just upgraded a 2.1.5 machine to 2.2.5-STABLE. Now I keep getting error messages about one of my IP addresses and can't quite figure out why: uranus kernel log messages: > arpresolve: can't allocate llinfo for 194.207.51.234 > arpresolve: can't allocate llinfo for 194.207.51.234 > arpresolve: can't allocate llinfo for 194.207.51.234 > arpresolve: can't allocate llinfo for 194.207.51.234 [ etc etc ] The machine works fine - I can access the machine via this IP address. The other messages I'm getting on an array of two 23GB U/W SCSI disks on an Adaptec 2940U/W: > ahc1: Issued Channel A Bus Reset. 3 SCBs aborted > sd1(ahc1:0:0): UNIT ATTENTION asc:29,0 > sd1(ahc1:0:0): Power on, reset, or bus device reset occurred field replaceable unit: 2 > , retries:3 > sd2(ahc1:1:0): SCB 0x1 - timed out in datain phase, SCSISIGI == 0x44 > sd2(ahc1:1:0): SCB 0x1 - timed out in datain phase, SCSISIGI == 0x54 > ahc1: Issued Channel A Bus Reset. 1 SCBs aborted > , retries:3 > sd2(ahc1:1:0): SCB 0x0 - timed out in datain phase, SCSISIGI == 0x44 > sd2(ahc1:1:0): SCB 0x0 - timed out in datain phase, SCSISIGI == 0x54 > sd2(ahc1:1:0): SCB 0x0 - timed out in datain phase, SCSISIGI == 0x44 > sd2(ahc1:1:0): SCB 0x1 timedout while recovery in progress > sd2(ahc1:1:0): SCB 0x0 - timed out in datain phase, SCSISIGI == 0x54 > ahc1: Issued Channel A Bus Reset. 2 SCBs aborted > sd2(ahc1:1:0): SCB 0x0 - timed out in datain phase, SCSISIGI == 0x44 > sd2(ahc1:1:0): SCB 0x0 - timed out in datain phase, SCSISIGI == 0x54 > sd2(ahc1:1:0): SCB 0x3 - timed out in datain phase, SCSISIGI == 0x44 [etc etc]... Again, the machine works fine... and I haven't noticed any corrupt data on the disks. Ta very much.
