The aliases seem to work just fine, but when I issue the ifconfig -a command I don't see the alaises on the 2.1-stable. 2.2-snap: [k@fly-dope k]$ /sbin/ifconfig -a ed1: flags=8843 mtu 1500 inet 204.137.148.200 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 204.137.148.255 inet 204.137.148.203 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 204.137.148.255 ether 00:00:01:05:51:76 2.1-stable: bash$ /sbin/ifconfig -a de0: flags=c863 mtu 1500 inet 204.137.148.2 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 204.137.148.255 Can anyone give me a few pointers as to why this is happening? thanks! -- -- TWC -- twc@netpimp.com --
