Looks like ECMP will finally be in FreeBSD 8, which is a huge issue for us, unless anybody else has a workaround for: http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/getmsg.cgi?fetch=182728+0+/usr/local/www/db/text/2006/freebsd-net/20060319.freebsd-net Basically, say we have two paths to a given subnet. If a router directly connected to that subnet does not have the interface configured yet, but the router already has a route to that subnet via OSPF (say hopping through a few other routers) then we can not add the directly connected interface.
