Lucky me. Running FreeBSD in VMWare3.2 v4.7R runs perfectly, but I liked to experiment a little. After all: what's the harm in a vm machine ;-)) So I choosed 'upgrade' from the /stand/sysinstall menu and choose what I had chosen when installing (minimal install). Pointed at the main FTP site and there it goes.. Alas, after rebooting the system is halted. Cannot load kernel or kernel.old What did I do wrong? Must I update All instead of Minimal?
