I'm using motif (but lesstif seems to work as well). It works quite good right now, but what I really like to see is some kind of automatic channel scanning (as in hauppauges win-apps). So hauppauge does it in their win apps, so I guess the hardware is capable to do so (it even shows the field strength). So, this is a questions to the tuner gurus: Is it possible to implement such a thing into the driver?
