Read my original email. :> :> I comitted a compromise with a provisio that we could remove the :> cruft in 2 weeks if it turned out to be useless. : :A "compromise" involving only one of the parties is not a compromise. : :> *I* at least :> am willing to compromise. All you seem to do is scream bloody murder :> at everything --- when you cry wolf that often, you should not be :> surprised if people start ignoring you. : :You are the only one who seems to feel justified in ignoring the concerns :and objections of our Principle Architect. Perhaps you don't understand :the weight carried by that position, but the David's judgment is binding on Complete and utter bullshit. If you will just STOP and *read* my email rather then being reactionary, you will note that I left plenty of room in to remove the cruft... after 2 weeks. *NOT* now. I did not unilaterly decide that the cruft would remain in forever. And, I would like to point out, that it works both ways... when all DG does it veto every damn thing that comes across his desk, it's just as useless and anti social as if I were to ignore him. It's like having a one way conversation --- I feel as though every single comment I make is going into the bit bucket. You seem to make it seem as though every commit I've ever made is somehow going against the grain of what FreeBSD is meant to be. I *challenge* you to review those commits and tell me what percentage of them you think are bad. Are you willing to do that? No? You aren't, are you? You don't know what the hell I've committed, do you? You are just being reactionary. -Matt To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe cvs-all" in the body of the message
