To: freebsd-hardware@FreeBSD.ORG Date: Wed, 26 Aug 1998 16:43:56 -0500 (EST) X-Mailer: ELM [version 2.4 PL25] MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Sender: owner-freebsd-hardware@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.org I'm trying to install 2.2.7 on a Plus+ Hardcard 40 drive to use as a plug in diagnostics board. I've checked the FAQs etc and it says that all MFM drives ( as I believe this is ) are supported, though I know they are "a little" non standard. What happens is that when the boot floppy is loading I get the spinner and then it freezes ( always on a verticle bar, if that makes a difference ) and reboots. Any chance on getting this to work? I can provide more information if needed. Thanks, Charles Hunter To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-hardware" in the body of the message
