I have used FreeBSD for awhile and, for some reason, booting either the minimum-install or regular 5.3 disks freezes after detecting the USB ports. I finally got a minimum install, but upon the first reboot, it froze at the same point again. Yes, I have tried to boot without ACPI to no avail. thanks, James Schorr
