I was looking for something as automatic as possible (boot a flopy.. clone= =20 disk adjusting partition sizes.. done). We are an ISP and regularly set up= =20 FreeBSD boxes for customers that need a mail server/inet gateway, and throw= =20 in webmail, email virus scanning, webmin, the works. Up until now we've been manually installing (and updating) these boxes one= =20 by one and it's getting kinda tedious to say the least. Plus there's just= =20 a couple of us here that can do the installs, so it would be great to have= =20 something that anybody can use to clone the latest -STABLE install with all= =20 the goodies. I'm looking into g4u and maybe growfs as the simplest choice out there. Again, thanks for all the suggestions -Adrian At 09:33 AM 2/20/2003 +0530, Aravind Balasubramanian wrote: >Pierre-Luc Lesp=E9rance wrote: >>Adrian Gonzalez wrote: >> >>> >>>Is there anything out there that resembles Symantec Ghost but works with= =20 >>>FreeBSD partitions? >>> >>>Basically I want to be able to transfer a FreeBSD installation from an=20 >>>old hard drive to a new one without having to reinstall, reconfigure,= etc. > >Ghost for unix is what you are looking for. > >http://rfhs8012.fh-regensburg.de/~feyrer/g4u/ > >Try and tell us ur experience > >Regards > >Aravind Balasubramanian To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-isp" in the body of the message
