Sorry if this is a repeat..

We are using a 3Com 3c589C PCMIA ethernet card, and it seems not to
be willing to go into promiscuous mode with the "zp" ethernet driver.

Is the driver known not to do this?  Are there other PCMIA ether
card/driver combinations that are know to work in this respect?
