There are 2 ethernet with the davicom dm9102a chipset, supported by the if_dc.ko driver, but they don't work. when i attach the rj45 to the ethernet port the status appears to be "no carrier". These are the logs from shell: # ifconfig -a dc0: flags=3D8802 mtu 1500 ether 00:00:00:00:00:00 media: Ethernet autoselect (none) status: no carrier dc1: flags=3D8802 mtu 1500 ether 00:00:00:00:00:00 media: Ethernet autoselect (100baseTX ) status: active lo0: flags=3D8049 mtu 16384 inet 127.0.0.1 netmask 0xff000000 # pciconf -lv none0@pci0:3:0: class=3D0x000000 card=3D0x00000000 chip=3D0x710110b9 rev=3D= 0x00 hdr=3D0x00 vendor =3D 'Acer Labs Incorporated (ALi)' device =3D 'ALI M7101 Power Management Controller' class =3D old subclass =3D non-VGA display device dc0@pci0:5:0: class=3D0x020000 card=3D0x00000000 chip=3D0x91021282 rev=3D= 0x31 hdr=3D0x00 vendor =3D 'Davicom Semiconductor Inc.' device =3D 'DM9102/A/AF,DM9801 Fast Ethernet Adapter' class =3D network subclass =3D ethernet isab0@pci0:7:0: class=3D0x060100 card=3D0x153310b9 chip=3D0x153310b9 rev=3D= 0x00 hdr=3D0x00 vendor =3D 'Acer Labs Incorporated (ALi)' device =3D 'ALI M1533 Aladdin IV ISA Bridge' class =3D bridge subclass =3D PCI-ISA none1@pci0:10:0: class=3D0x0c0310 card=3D0x00000000 chip=3D0x523710b9 rev=3D0x03 hdr=3D0x00 vendor =3D 'Acer Labs Incorporated (ALi)' device =3D 'ALI M5237 USB Host Controller' class =3D serial bus subclass =3D USB dc1@pci0:12:0: class=3D0x020000 card=3D0x00000000 chip=3D0x91021282 rev=3D= 0x31 hdr=3D0x00 vendor =3D 'Davicom Semiconductor Inc.' device =3D 'DM9102/A/AF,DM9801 Fast Ethernet Adapter' class =3D network subclass =3D ethernet atapci0@pci0:13:0: class=3D0x0101ff card=3D0x00000000 chip=3D0x522910b9 rev=3D0xc3 hdr=3D0x00 vendor =3D 'Acer Labs Incorporated (ALi)' device =3D 'M1543 Southbridge EIDE Controller' class =3D mass storage subclass =3D ATA # dmesg Copyright (c) 1992-2002 The FreeBSD Project.
