Unfortunately, I have no option to change IRQ or slot for net card. The PC I have is EliteGroup i-Buddie A530. It is notebook-like PC with everything on-board and simple BIOS setup. I can not even turn off the sound card - it's integrated into chipset and BIOS has no option to change anything except LPT settings, HDD recognition (auto/manual) and language (US/Brasil) :) I tried Windows 98, 2000, XP, Linux (Mandriva 9,10, Debian, SUSE 9,10) - all hardware works just fine, even modem! But FreeBSD 4.11, 5.4, 6.0RC1 can not use netcard, and PC hangs if atapi DMA turned on (this happens with BSD only!!!). Here are some details (as I mentioned, sound and network share IRQ 5): http://www.elitegroup.com.tw Model: A530_TM5600 Specification: Processor Transmeta Crusoe 5600 CPU, 512KB L2 cache on die With LongRun; Power Management Compact 474pins ceramic BGA package x86-compatible code excution combined with Code Morphing; software Core Logic North bridge : embedded in Transmeta CPU South bridge : ALi 1535+ Memory 128MB PC133 SDRAM on board; up to 384MB SDRAM total Expansion 1 slot of 144pin SO-DIMM Supports 3.3V PC133 SDRAM Module LCD Display 14.1" XGA TFT LCD with 1024 x 768 resolution 256bit 3D graphic engine, supports up to 143MHz 3D engine clock Hard Drive ATA100/66/33 and Enhanced IDE (PIO mode 4) supported, 2.5" 9.5mm height Optical Storage Factory Option : 5.25" 12.7mm height slim type CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, Combo Drive (DVD-ROM+CD-RW) Pointing Device Synaptics touchpad with scrolling button I/O Interface 4 X USB2.0,1 X RJ-11 (Modem),1 X RJ-45 (Ethernet) 1 X Headphone jack, 1 X MIC-in, 1 X Parallel port 1 X TV-Out port, 1 X External VGA port, 1 X DC-in Jack for AC adapter Audio CMI8738 AC'97 2.1 compliant, SPDIF out, 5.1 channel support BIOS AMI 512KBytes Flash BIOS, supports password, Plug & Play, ACPI and DMI Bootable from USB FDD and Optical Device Optional Accessory Wireless LAN module Battery Pack : 8-cell battery pack and Dummy battery pack Communication Internal LAN, Wireless USB LAN(Option) and Modem Integrated WiFi; -compliant wireless LAN (802.11b) available as configurable option On-board, full duplex 10/100 Base-T LAN Ethernet (Realtek 8139) 56K/V.90 data/fax modem (ALI5457) USB Connector Four USB2.0 ports, up to 480Mbit/s Power Management PC 2001, ACPI compliance Remark WLP 2.1a , ACPI compliance, Designed for Windows XP Regards, Sergey http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=83735
