Both packages (2.1-R) don't install due to some weird mtree error. latex2e-95.06.tgz tex-3.1415.tgz Also, tex and latex2e remove the binaries but don't remove links (virtex) and when the install fails the old binaries are gone. Sorry, but I received a cold shower this morning from my professor 'everyone on the other side of the aile is using linux , why don't we too'. :-( Which made me say, OK, no problem, let's quickly install latex2e. Now I'm sitting here for a couple of hours already... --Chris Christoph P. U. Kukulies kuku@gil.physik.rwth-aachen.de
