I was trying to keep my hands off the removal part. I told the author that if he kept delaying and giving argument, someone was going to remove it, and I gave him the strong impression I wouldn't do that, but that I *would* bring it back as a port. That's the reason I didn't want to do that part .... grump ... I should have explained it before.
