Every time I reboot my machine, the nmbd daemon dumps core and I have to manually start it again. When I run the script in /usr/local/etc/rc.d, I don't run into any problems whatsoever. I update my system via cvsup about once a week and I've been experiencing this problem for about the past month on 4.5-STABLE. I'm currently running: 4.5-STABLE FreeBSD 4.5-STABLE #0: Thu Mar 28 12:43:25 PST 2002 I have attached my initial gdb analysis of the nmbd.core file and another file that includes the relevant log.nmbd entries. Please let me know if there is any other information I can supply you with and thank you in advance for any insight you can offer. -Scott --=-UyLHaqcsuwrbcniAGRAF Content-Disposition: attachment; filename=log.nmbd Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Content-Type: text/plain; name=log.nmbd; charset=ISO-8859-1 [2002/04/01 10:14:32, 0] nmbd/nmbd.c:main(783) Netbios nameserver version 2.2.3a started.
