Any ideas? Run killev, then try to start it. If that fails, exit X, then kill off any gconfd-{1|2}, oafd, and esd processes, then try to start Evo. If that fails, repeat steps 1 and 2, but also move your ~/evolution directory to some place else, and force Evo to walk you through the initial setup again.
